Morning started with 2 Hercules planes flying over and all the goats retreating to their shelter. Followed by a Chinook helicopter this afternoon and then early evening a jet.

Hedges all finished and had a fire to burn it all.

Decided to tidy the hedges where the tractor could not get access to today. Had to resort to manual methods – literally.
Chainsaw – broken
Hedge trimmer – broken
Hand saw and secateurs – unfortunately not broken

Thursday is feed run day – off to Mole Avon

Had an enquiry through Facebook for some rabbits today. Ended up selling 3 of our Californian x New Zealand rabbits.

We are a small farm situated in the beautiful countryside of Mid-Devon between Exmoor and Dartmoor.
On our 17 acres we breed pigs, goats, alpaca, sheep, rabbits, turkeys, geese, guinea fowl, ducks, chickens
and quail. All our animals are free range.
